About Me
I have worked continuously in childcare for 27 years and have devoted the last 13 years exclusively to the care of babies from birth to 12 months. My passion is establishing an environment in which the whole family thrive and enjoy each other. I work worldwide and have a variety of clientele; this has allowed me to develop a flexible style which adapts well to all lifestyles. Throughout my career I have had the pleasure of working closely with innumerable families from all backgrounds. The positive feedback I receive reinforces my belief that my methods work in all types of situations. I strive to create a routine that focuses on a happy and healthy child, ensuring all parents to feel satisifed and content and allow them to work within their own particluar schedule. I am proud to say that I have many endorsements and various mentions in publications by satisfied clients, with the majority of my work now coming from personal recommendations..
When I am engaged by a client, whether it be for consultations or as a maternity nurse, I guarantee to make comprehensive and thorough notes. These take into consideration the family as a whole and what these particular clients expect to achieve from our time working together. This enables me to construct the most beneficial and nurturing solution to the situation. I also offer a unique follow up service for all my clients to address any concerns, clarify any queries, prevent any new issues from arising or indeed to allow my clients to just say hi and check in.
I see my role as much about the family unit as it is about the child and feel very strongly that parents and caregivers can seek the support from myself to carry out my recommendations, and to move forward towards a positive future together. Many of my clients have become friends and it is a pleasure to see them enjoying their children.
Philosophy
I pride myself on my adaptable approach to meeting the needs of each individual client. I feel very strongly that my work with babies and young children is tailored to fit within the family dynamics. I provide a bespoke service based on the needs of each and every client I work with; the result of which is that I leave a happy, confidant and knowledgeable family unit behind at the end of our time together.
